New Ham Radio Syllabus: Exam Pass Rate Figures Released
/The minutes of the RSGB Examinations and Syllabus Review Group (ESRG) meeting held at the Barnes Hotel, Cardington, on February 1, 2020, are now available to download
The minutes give the pass rate for exams run using the new syllabus. The period covered starts 1st September but no end date is given; it could be up until the end of January. The numbers that appear in the minutes are:
Foundation - 429 candidates, 90 failed, 79% pass rate
Intermediate – 73 candidates, 15 failed, 58% pass rate
Full – 80 candidates, 36 failed, 55% pass rate
The minutes note the above figures include ‘no-shows’ by candidates.
