HAM RADIO 2024 will take place in Friedrichshafen, Germany as Europe's largest amateur radio exhibition and trade fair. This year's theme is 60 Years of Islands on the Air: technology meets adventure!

HAM RADIO serves as a platform where radio enthusiasts can get together and exchange information and experience. As one of the largest amateur radio exhibitions in the world, alongside the Hamvention Dayton/Ohio, USA and the Ham Fair in Tokyo/Japan, HAM RADIO attracts exhibitors and visitors from more than 50 countries all around the world to Friedrichshafen. A special feature of HAM is the combination of commercial exhibitors, worldwide networked associations and Europe’s largest radio flea market with over 300 participants from 25 countries.

HAM RADIO partners with the German Amateur Radio Club (DARC).

Young Person's Morse Tutor Kit Building Event

An event aimed at young people who want to learn about radio and electronics is being held in Tandragee, County Armagh, Northern Ireland on Saturday 25th June 2022.

We are building a kit that will send out Morse Code so you can learn the code, or you can plug in a Morse key and send Morse code for yourself.

All tools and test equipment will be provided and there will be mentors in attendance to help you along the way - no previous experience is needed.

FREE LUNCH - youngsters attending this session can book a free lunch.

Parents are welcome to sit in but will need to order their own lunch and pay for it on the day.

Alamogordo Amateur Radio Club's 36th Annual Hamfest is back on 3 September 2022, after missing a couple for events during covid lockdown Hamfest

Free admissions, Door prize drawings throughout the day (donations from local and Ham-related vendors)

Food Wagon on site for morning brew, eats and lunch (support your local vendors). Plenty of parking at the Otero County Fairgrounds, no RV hookups, dump station on site.

Alamogordo Amateur Radio Club is ARRL approved and small-listed nonprofit (needing all the help we can get)

AARC is also looking for items to be donated as door prizes throughout the event
