Some ARRL Reversals and Deferred Decisions

In addition to changing its membership policy by offering fulltime students who are 21 years of age or younger a free Associate membership, the ARRL is also reintroducing Life Membership which it suspended last year. It is also introducing a 70+ Life Membership, for hams 70 and older.

Even more significantly, though, was the board’s decision at the meeting on 19th amd 20th January to defer scheduled action on proposed revisions to its Conflict of Interest Policy, and establish a committee to review ethics guidelines and standards.
