Contacts over 5,000 km in 144 MHz Opening

John EI7GL reports on the Trans-Atlantic opening on 144 MHz between amateur radio stations in the Canary Islands and the Caribbean on 20th August 2021

Distances in excess of 5,000 km were achieved with EA8CXN contacting both Puerto Rico and Guadeloupe.
