Enhanced 50 MHz Allocation in Germany

In bulletin 8/2020 (https://www.bnetza-amtsblatt.de/2020/) published on 6th May 2020, the German regulator (Bundesnetzagentur) announced that the following changes (based on WRC19) were implemented for radio amateurs in DL, just in time for the upcoming sporadic E season:

  • Frequency range extended: 50 - 52 MHz is now available (previously: 50 - 51 MHz)

  • Power limits: 750W for CEPT 1, 25W for Novices (previously: 25W for CEPT 1, no allocation for Novices)

  • Contest operation is now allowed without restrictions
