New Ham Radio Youth Group in Spain

The president of Spain's national society URE has accepted an offer to take over the URE Youth leadership

The new vocal, youth group will be formed by Jon Sistiaga EA2ARD, Arturo Rivera EA7KE, Mónica Avilés EA7MP and Imanol Antoñanzas EC2DX.

This group will be an open working group with the priority objective of the promotion and dissemination of Amateur Radio, mainly among the youngest. It is important here to highlight the hue of 'OPEN' as it will be received with open arms to all those who are interested in providing their help that, as little as it may seem, will always be one more hand to move in the right direction.

As Vocalía de Juventud, several lines of action will follow:

  • Directly with young people, colleges, schools and universities.

  • Planning the training and dissemination of the amateur radio.

  • Promoting knowledge and coexistence among young people who are interested in this hobby.

  • Supporting and advising interested collaborators.

At Iberradio 2019 there will be a presentation talk of the joint working group with the talk of our young people attending YOTA camps that will tell us about their experience in Bulgaria and South Africa.
