End of Norwegian FM
The deadline for traditional broadcast radio transmissions in Norway has been set for 11th January 2017.
After the FM signal has been switched off, broadcast radio will become solely digital.
The switch off will happen regionally, with the region of Nordland being the first area. Throughout the day, the regions of Norway will cease to transmit FM signals until the last area Bodø will fall silent before midnight.
